My Story
Having been raised in a Naval Family, I've had a passion for the sea from an early age - and have spent a 'life at sea'
With 10yrs and over 70,000 nm documented a skipper off the East coast USA, and 20 years at sea as a Surface Warfare Officer in the Royal Navy, including appointments such as Commanding Officer, Leadership Instructor, Sailing/Powerboat/Navigation Instructor - I can bring deep maritime expertise and leadership to every delivery.
Marrying an American lady, leaving the Navy and transitioning to civilian sailing; I was recruited by Beneteau as both a broker and delivery skipper, before launching into freelance work that took me across the Caribbean and beyond. During Covid - I spent years as a USVI charter captain for CYOA (now 'Waypoints') and delivery skipper for leading brands like Beneteau, Moorings, and Dream Yacht Charter, and I’ve logged over 70,000 miles as skipper under sail.
Since 2015, I’ve specialized in yacht deliveries along the U.S. East Coast, to and from the Caribbean and Central America, with experience in both sail and motor vessels.

Conclusion
Every delivery is different, and I am always available to discuss your delivery or training needs. Some people need their boat sailed across the harbor, some require delivery over thousands of miles, some people are looking to get used to a boat they have just bought, and to get to grips with the Rule of The Road, etiquette and logistical world that boaters live in!
